This Month's Insider Look: April Edition

Hello, April 🌷

The cherry blossoms along El Camino have come and gone, but the spring energy on the Peninsula is still building. The magnolias in downtown San Mateo are in full bloom, weekend open houses are packed again, and there is that unmistakable buzz that comes when buyers and sellers finally step off the sidelines.

Whether you are keeping an eye on your home's value or just curious about what is happening in your neighborhood, the March numbers are in, and they tell an interesting story. San Mateo County prices surged nearly 10 percent year over year, while Santa Clara County held steady with modest gains and noticeably more inventory. Two counties, two very different chapters.

Thank you to everyone who shared last month's issue with friends and neighbors. It genuinely makes my day when someone mentions they forwarded it.

I spent most of March helping four families navigate offers in Menlo Park and Burlingame, and the common thread was the same: preparation and pricing discipline win in this market.
